About
I drew a lot as a child and thank my father for inspiring creativity and logical thinking in me and my sisters as children. One of my favorite activities was when he would draw shapes and squiggles on a page and invite us to add some lines and turn them into a picture, then tell a story about it. It didn’t matter if the resulting picture resembled reality in any way. It was all about making up a story based on what we saw.
I look forward to passing on the legacy of creativity to Aimee (pictured left). She and my partner, Deborah, are the biggest blessings in my life these days. Although there is less time for art right now, I have lots of bones waiting for my attention, including another bear as well as a bobcat. Very exciting!
The art on this website includes mostly bones sculptures and drawings/paintings. I have a huge bag of writings but am not sure what exactly I want to share. Stay tuned.
It is scary for me to share my art publicly, but more and more I recognize that life is indeed short, and I want to have the courage to let myself be seen. This is me taking the leap and sharing a glimpse into my creative side with you.
